What Private Pilates at ProHealth Looks Like

A private session at ProHealth is 50 minutes, one-on-one with a comprehensively trained Pilates teacher. You'll work in a dedicated studio space with full access to the Reformer, Cadillac, Chair, Barrel, and small props. Your teacher selects the equipment for each part of your session based on what your body needs that day.

Every session is customized to where your body is that day, that week, that phase of life. The practice adapts to you, not the other way around.

Who Privates Are For

Private Pilates works for clients in many different situations:

People new to Pilates who want a proper foundation before joining group classes

Clients with a specific condition (back pain, pelvic floor, post-surgical, pregnancy) who need modifications the class environment can't provide

Athletes or active adults with specific performance goals

Anyone who wants the fastest progress the method can deliver

Clients transitioning out of physical therapy who need a clinical eye as they build strength

Then you build a plan that addresses the cause, not the symptom.

The ProHealth Difference

Several of our Pilates teachers are also licensed physical therapists. All teachers complete Polestar® Pilates comprehensive training, and several also hold NCPT certification. When clients have recent injuries or surgical histories, our teachers communicate directly with our PT team to make sure your Pilates practice supports your recovery.

You're not paying for fitness. You're paying for clinical-grade movement instruction from a teacher who understands how your body actually works.

Small groups, intentionally capped, so you get real attention from your teacher

A functional movement assessment is a structured evaluation that looks at how you move, not just where it hurts.

Your clinician tests specific patterns, identifies compensations, and maps the chain of dysfunction back to its source.

More Ways to Train

Prefer company? Sessions aren't limited to one-on-one. Book a duet with a friend, or a trio with two, and share the teacher's attention while you move.

Duets and trios are booked by you and your own group, so bring the friend (or friends) you want to train alongside."

What Is Functional Movement Therapy

Functional movement is how your body performs the everyday actions of life: standing up, reaching overhead, walking down stairs, turning to look behind you. When those patterns break down, pain and injury follow. Often in places that seem unrelated to the actual cause.

How We Treat

Every treatment plan is built around your specific diagnosis, history, and goals. Your clinician will recommend the right combination of these services based on your evaluation.

Functional Movement

Movement-based assessment and retraining. We identify the patterns causing pain and teach your body how to move in a way that supports recovery.

Manual Therapy

Hands-on techniques including soft-tissue mobilization and Active Release Techniques (ART)®. Delivered by your licensed clinician, not a tech.

Therapeutic Exercise

Customized exercise programs designed around your specific body, history, and goals. Not a generic protocol.

Neuromuscular Re-Education

Retraining the brain-body connection that pain and injury disrupt. Essential for post-surgical, post-concussion, and chronic pain patients.
